Locking
This can be either internal or external. If a single hinged door is part of the whole configuration, external locking will be necessary for that door.

Applications
Bi-folds provide great openings for indoor / outdoor living and can open both inwards and outwards. Certainly the ability to open the entire space allows you excellent entertaining options and superb air-flow.

These are some of the issues to carefully consider when choosing your bi-fold door configuration: Design choices extend to several panels, mostly 750mm wide. Panels push back one-way or to opposing sides. Often, a single hinged door is placed within bi-folds for convenience.

An exterior handle is not always included. It is however, essential for entering the doors from outside, and imperative if using the doors as common access.

Selecting certain bi-fold configurations can also provide you with French doors. Having French doors within your bi-fold door configuration gives you the freedom to open more than just a single door, but not the entire door.
